Anna and Evelyn met in a small-town suburban care home, both scarred by difficult childhoods. Anna was abandoned at birth and moved between passive foster families, while Evelyn came out at 13 and was abandoned by strict parents, they found solace in each other, they connected through over shared pain and a desire for acceptance
At 18, they left the foster care system with nothing but each other. They struggled to make ends meet in their new city, but their determination didn’t waver.
Inspired one day by a cheap T-shirt from a high street vendor, they came up with a bold idea: create a fashion line that celebrates and gives back to the LGBTQ+ community a they need help.
They named their brand "Liberate Love," reflecting their journey of defying expectations.
The early days were tough—rejections, low sales, and uncertainty. But they persevered, reaching out to LGBTQ+ organizations, telling their stories, and building a brand that includes people who feel invisible and unheard.
As their designs began to evolve, their work evolved within the group. Proceeds supported LGBTQ+ youth, mental health services and shelters. They became advocates and mentors, inspiring others with their resilience and message of hope.
